Looking for a little pick-me-up? After this week, I know I am. So thanks to Bubble Mom, who got her hands on this oh-so-secret recipe (we're still not sure why it's a secret, but it is), Bubble World now has The In on the energy bar scene, in our own Bubble-tastic recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup Sunbutter (no sugar added) or allergen-free butter of choice
1/2 cup honey or agave syrup
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup dried fruit
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup flax seed
Directions
In a medium pot, combine Sunbutter and honey/agave syrup on low heat. Stir until blended completely.
Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Line a 9x9 pan with waxed paper. Press mixture into pan. Let cool.

Milk-free, Egg-free, Fish-free, Shellfish-free, Tree nut-free, Peanuts-free, Wheat-free, Soy-free
Notes
This is a great recipe to cater exactly to your allergen needs and taste buds. If peanuts and/or tree nuts are not an allergy issue for you, feel free to sub in for the Sunbutter.
Also, any seeds will do, as long as you use one cup.
As for dried fruit, I like a combo of 1/2 cup golden raisins with 1/2 cup dates OR 1/2 cup dried cherries with 1/2 cup figs.
